WELCOME
Windshiel Farm is a family run livestock farm situated just outside of Duns in the Scottish Borders. The team consists of Ted, Sharon, Joe and Laura, and a host of working dogs that appear in plenty of photo opportunities. We rear organic cows, sheep and pigs and have recently opened a holiday let Oatleycleugh Barn where you can stay and be a part of the journey with us. Windshiel is approximately 500 acres and sits at around 1000ft above sea level at it’s peak. The hilly layout and free draining soil perfectly compliments our completely outdoor based rearing system for the 800 sheep and 60 cows. We have a strong belief in looking after stock from the ground up, focusing on soil health, variety of grasses and grazing rotation to fully utilise and promote the health of his ground.The majority of lambs are sold fat, and young cattle at around 17months, both through Farmstock, with a small amount retained on farm to fulfil direct sales orders throughout the year - for more information on purchasing meat directly from us please see below, or our Products page.

We supply lamb, mutton, pork, bacon and beef throughout the year, we do a market once a month and we have a mailing list. Mutton sausages for your rolls, to pork joints for a Sunday roast, please get in touch for any queries and we will do our best to help.

Meat can be pre-ordered for collection at the market.
We deliver orders to addresses within 15 miles of the farm (delivery free for orders over £40).
All other orders can be sent anywhere in the UK by next day courier at a delivery charge of £8 (free for orders over £75)
